As well as a well balanced wine list we offer a choice of 2 real ales, currently Bowmans Swift one ( Hampshire beer of the year 2008) brewed locally 3 miles away at Droxford & Shepard & Neames award winning Spitfire. Stella Artois & Becks Vier lagers, a good range of quality soft drinks as well as the usual premium spirits. We also have a range of coffees(espresso,cappucino,latte, decaffeinated & filter coffee), organic hot chocolate & a range of teas.In winter we serve delicious mulled wine and hot toddies & Pimms in summer.
Our menus are constantly changing according to the seasons, quality of local produce and, most importantly, customer requests. Our local produce lunch menu has been particularly popular and is available Tues - Sat, 12 - 2.15. Not only is it exceptional value it enables you the customer to try innovative dishes made from quality ingredients without breaking the bank!
At Sunday lunch we offer a choice of freshly roasted sirloin of beef with Yorkshire pudding, roast chicken with lemon & herbs, & loin of Greenfield farm pork all served with fresh seasonal vegetables. A fresh fish dish & vegetarian option are also available as well as a selection of starters & desserts.
Our dessert menu is equally innovative. Many of our regular customers return again and again on the strength of the quality of our apricot & whisky bread & butter pudding with crème anglaise, chocolate profiteroles, lemon tart or Baileys brulee to name but a few. Our homemade ice cream receives a host of accolades. Many customers say it is the best they have ever tasted!
We are also very happy to provide set dinner menus for any occasion. Celebrations are our speciality- birthdays, anniversaries & weddings as well as business lunch & dinners. We are happy to tailor make a menu to suit your requirements - just ask!
